I was so happy to see that many people read my previous blog post. Thank you! If you haven’t, you can read it here.

So today I would like to write about a Japanese convenience store, Lawson. Luckily, there are many Lawsons in Shenyang. I have really dry skin and I had been wanting to buy body lotion since I used all of mine. I decided to stop by Lawson to just see if they have the body lotion that I want.

I found it! It has been so cold outside so I was very grateful that the store had them and I didn’t need to go a far away shopping mall looking for them! I bought a NIVEA blue bottle cream.

They have shampoo,

Beer

and desserts as well.

They had some Japanese products too.

We sometimes buy Onigiri, rice balls when we get hungry.

My daughter loves tuna-mayo and Shake Onigiri (filled with Tuna and mayonnaise also Salmon flakes).

They have Japanese sports drinks and local ones too.

Pasta too!

As I wrote before about China’s cashless society on my blog, you can pay with Wechat Pay App, which you start using after opening your Chinese bank account.

I mentioned how to open a Chinese bank account briefly on my 2nd blog post.

The store still accepts cash too if you don’t have a phone app to pay with. I feel so relieved that I am able to buy easily things that I am familiar with. ☆

In order to buy Japanese products overseas,

I realize that many things need to happen

for those items to reach customers.

Everyone works hard everyday,

friendly relations between countries are important.

Trade, transportation, and shipping,

as well as the cooperation of people working

in the foreign country to overcome many challenges.

And now, with the long-desired item in my hand,

I’m really grateful.
