A while ago, I posted about a drink that my Chinese teacher recommended to me for the cold weather. This time, I tried ordering tea that I found on a Chinese online shop that looked very interesting.飛び出すハート

Does it look like Chinese medicine tea?

I didn’t know that it would come as a 30-piece tea set.笑い泣き I think I should share some of the tea with my friends. ニコニコ

This tea is said to help people improve their quality of sleep and those who are sensitive to the cold or have a weak constitution. 音譜

In each cup, there are many different kinds of ingredients, such as…

From the top left to the right…

Chrysanthemum flower: Relieves eye strain

Rose flower: Antioxidant effect, good sleep

Yam: Recovers from gastrointestinal fatigue, nourishes

Licorice (甘草): Anti-cough, anti-phlegm

(middle row, left)Jujube (Chinese date): Prevents anemia and relieves irritation and insomnia

Goji berries: Antioxidant effect, beauty

Red ginseng pieces (紅参片): Gastrointestinal weakness, loss of appetite, poor blood circulation, sensitivity to cold

Hawthorn: Improves indigestion

(bottom row, left)

Dragon eye meat (Longan fruit): Heart and skin health

Poriae Cocos (茯苓 Chinese mushroom): Diuretic, spleen strengthener

Red beans: Relieve swelling

Lotus seed: Provides nutrition and relieves constipation

I found this information online, but I don’t know how accurate it is.

This is the newest addition to my cup collection, a cute bunny cup that I ordered for myself. ラブ

The tea tasted slightly sweet, and I felt like I could smell flowers at the end. I think I could also taste bean flavors. I was curious if my cold sensitivity and quality of sleep would be get better if I kept drinking the tea every day.

The picture below is of the tea I had at a cafe a while ago. But it looks very similar to the one I tried this time.

This tea was very refreshing because it had fresh slices of lemon in it. There are many varieties of tea in China. I would love to try new tea – please let me know if you have any tea recommendations!
