It’s February already! How is everyone doing these days?

Today, I would like to write about a spa that I went to with my friend a while ago. That was my first time having a full-body massage in China (I have been there many times now. hehe). I have gotten massages, especially Swedish massages in Japan, the US, and the Philippines, but this time I noticed few things that I thought are unique about this spa.

1. The type of massage that I got was a combination of Swedish and Chinese Shiatsu.
2. The massage bed has an electric heater, so you will feel warm during the massage.
3. The spa also uses a portable electric heater to warm your belly during the service.
4. The therapist tells you that you can stay longer and rest before you leave. I felt like I didn’t have to leave in a rush.
5. You will get a small meal after the service.

I really like that the staff always made sure that I didn’t feel cold.

I bought a set of 15 tickets since a friend suggested to me it was cheaper than buying individually. If you buy the set of 15 tickets, it is actually about $20 per ticket for 45 minutes massage plus the meal. Also you can share your tickets with your friends too, and there is no expiration date, as of January, 2024.

In the top picture on the right, is a spicy salad with sliced potato and celery.

This was rice porridge with 10 kinds of grains, salad, fruits, and a glass of warm tea.

The bed has an electric heater, so it gets warm and very comfortable during the massage. You might fall asleep. 😉

Overall, I am very happy about their service. Some of the staff know some English, but it would be helpful if you have a translation app with you, so that you could communicate with the staff comfortably. I really feel my body becomes tense and stiffens with Shenyang’s cold weather (today is -20℃ or ‐４°F), but I like every time I go to this spa, I feel very warm and so refreshed!
