Today, I would like to share some pictures of dresses that I tried at a dress rental shop in China. This was actually my second time renting a dress from this store. The staff at the store remembered me and welcomed me with a warm hug. hehe

It was a quick visit, as I had only about one hour to spend getting my dress, but I had fun trying different types of dresses. I will show you some pictures of what I wore.

So this time, I tried everything that the staff recommended to me.

The next dress that I tried was this one. The staff really recommended it. I thought this was not my cup of tea, so I didn’t pick it. 。。。

The dress posted below had a beautiful long ribbon on the back and it could be folded and make the ribbon shorter. This dress was very cute.

This one made me look like a mermaid.

I also tried a Chinese dress.

For an extra cost, you can rent pieces of jewelry as well.

After living overseas for 11 years, I have a kind of mindset and feeling that you cannot get 100% of what you want. I don’t want to stress myself out being too picky, and also I don’t want to burden others. Instead, I want to appreciate what I have right now in front of me and enjoy it to the fullest. I was just grateful for this staff who helped me put on different types of dresses and tried communicating with me with a translation app without showing annoying facial reactions. I was so grateful that I could meet her again.

Btw, this is what I wore for the party. The staff told me that this is their latest dress, and it is only available in my size. I picked this one and the staff gave me a thumbs up sign. hehe

Here is the hair & makeup salon I went to. My friend booked it for me and we went together. ☺️👍🏻

The nail salon is this place.

This nail salon offers Japanese-style nail polish. One of my friends told me that the local nail salon doesn’t know how to properly remove gel nails. So it would be better to try a Japanese-style nail salon. At the salon I went to, they treated my nails very carefully and did a great job.

I hope someone who needs a dress like me can get through the preparation for attending a party easily.
